Hey folks. I was recently interviewed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in Saint John, New Brunswick to promote a talk that my colleague and I gave at the Huntsman Aquarium in St. Andrews. Hilary Murphy-Moors and myself went to talk about the Gully and Musquash Marine Protected Areas. The next day we had the pleasure of participating in the Musquash paddle that takes place in the MPA every year. Wish we could get more positive new stories out there, like this one, about marine conservation.

The Index is the first comprehensive, annual assessment of the benefits that a healthy ocean provides through 10 goals, which emphasize the human-ocean relationship. The global score of 60/100 indicates that our relationship with the ocean is unsustainable.
