Oceana is seeking a Digital Fundraising & Content Specialist to work as a member of the digital marketing and communications team to help guide digital fundraising, advocacy and engagement strategy and tactics across digital platforms. The Digital Fundraising & Content Specialist will primarily work to activate Oceana’s grassroots program, covering platforms including website, email, e-commerce and SMS. Our digital team works every day to be more effective and creative in digital fundraising, advocacy and engagement. We are looking to add a strategic and creative mind to the team to help meet Oceana’s digital marketing goals. The Digital Fundraising & Content Specialist will take part in all e-activism team meetings and strategy sessions, contributing their ideas and perspective This person will also work directly with marketing and campaigns staff to increase meaningful engagement and search engine optimization across Oceana website properties, produce conversion-optimized content for digital channels, contribute to the drafting and implementation of successful digital fundraising campaigns, among other digital engagement activities.
