manages billions of ocean acres of the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf – securing minerals for our country’s

future, ensuring that exploration and development occurs in an environmentally-responsible way.

 

Position responsibilities include:

● Developing policy for the exploration, leasing, and stewardship of marine minerals

● Coordinating and managing use of minerals in coastal restoration projects

● Advancing BOEM’s National Offshore Sand Inventory and Marine Minerals Information System

● Evaluating minerals using geophysical, geological, and geospatial methods and data

● Participating in and managing research projects

● Engaging stakeholders and building new partnerships

 

Salary up to $128,000
