Summary Job Description
We are seeking a Grants Manager to oversee the management of our grant lifecycle and reporting on the funding agreements that underpin our work, including managing relationships with foundations and institutional donors and supporting the development of a grants function in Madagascar. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join an ambitious and growing team in a key function, with opportunities for travel, development and exposure to all our programmes globally.
We are looking for an individual experienced in project and grants manager to manage donor reporting and compliance, and establish processes and workflows to ensure tracking of project progress, and high quality financial and narrative reporting. The role will report to the Head of Implementation in Bristol and work closely with the development, finance and field teams.
The successful candidate will be a confident writer and editor, with proven experience of project and budget management, and experience of developing and maintaining systems to keep track of projects, to ensure accountability and meet audit requirements. Experience in the environmental conservation or international development sectors would be beneficial. In addition to fluency in English, French language skills are highly desirable.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, proactive and highly organised individual, with an excellent knowledge of project and grant management, the ability to assimilate and interpret high volumes of information and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
