California Sea Grant is seeking a research coordinator to administer our research and education programs. This person will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the program’s competitive marine science research and education programs.
The Research Coordinator will solicit, receive, arrange review of, and help select research proposals to recommend for funding from diverse sources, as well as write proposals for program funding and other activities. They will also track progress of research and fellowship programs, and have the opportunity to engage in extension and outreach activities on behalf of the program.
The Research Coordinator serves as part of the California Sea Grant Science Integration Team, a dynamic team that works to administer and integrate the program’s research, education, and outreach programs.
We are looking for an organized, collaborative individual with experience in project management, marine resource management, and soliciting and reviewing research and fellowship applications.
