New (and completely free) research repository available for ocean and climate science research. A new service MarXiv (rhymes with “archive”) makes it possible to share your ocean and climate science papers, technical reports, and datasets legally and at no cost to you or users. Other benefits of storing your research products on MarXiv include unique DOI numbers, long-term storage, and indexing in Google Scholar. Read more about more about MarXiv and add papers to the repository.

MarXiv is also accepting applications for Ambassadors to help train researchers on how to make academic literature legally- and freely-available. MarXiv will provide $1000 stipends to defray expenses for this work. Applications are due by 17 December 2017.
