Coastal Resilience Workshop at UCI: Planning and Implementing Resilient Solutions in Coastal California (10/7)

Join us Monday, October 7th for a free, public workshop on coastal resilience, titled Planning and Implementing Resilient Solutions in Coastal California, at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) (see save-the-date flyer below).

Blue Earth Consultants (Blue Earth), a Division of Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG), is coordinating the fifth annual coastal resilience workshop at UCI in October. The workshop is sponsored by UCI, through the UCI Toward A Sustainable 21st Century. Building on the success of the workshops in 2015-2018, UCI will connect coastal planners, practitioners, funders, and decision-makers to share lessons learned and strategies for building coastal resilience. Participants will leave the event with a greater understanding of how to plan and implement coastal resilience projects across communities. Specifically, participants will gain insight on:

  • Approaches to Build Political Will and Community Support to Address Climate Change;
  • Modeling Impact: SLR, Economics, Data, and Tools to Inform Decisions;
  • Case Studies: Planning and Creating a Pipeline of Resiliency Solutions; and
  • Solution Case Studies.

Workshop registration information will come at a later date. Thanks, and we hope to see you there!
